At Vila Austerlitz, an elegant historic villa in Slavkov u Brna (Austerlitz), Margessa created a collection of eight bespoke interior fragrances. Each composition was designed exclusively for one of the villa's eight unique suites, and each tells its own story.
Fragrances are not defined by what we smell. They are defined by what they leave behind—the emotions they awaken, the atmosphere they create, and the memories they inspire. Scent gives an interior another dimension: invisible, yet profoundly present.

Eight Suites. Eight Moods. Eight Fragrances.

Redlich Suite

A fragrance of integrity and wisdom. Herbs, tradition, and the quiet strength of presence. A fragrance of history and timeless elegance.
To step into the Redlich Suite is to enter a world where the past meets the present, and where every breath carries the imprint of time. This bespoke fragrance was inspired by Hermann Redlich—entrepreneur, visionary, and owner of the local sugar refinery. A man whose determination was deeply rooted in both the landscape and the spirit of his time.
The composition opens with the luminous freshness of a clear morning, that quiet moment when new ideas begin to take shape. Fresh and uplifting, it carries a subtle spark of focus while remaining calm and composed.
Gradually, the fragrance unfolds into deeper notes that evoke stability, dignity, and refined elegance. It recalls the atmosphere of historic studies and private offices, where thoughtful decisions were made with patience, wisdom, and respect for craftsmanship.
Its finish is warm and comforting, like the quiet satisfaction that follows work carried out with honesty and purpose. The space remains filled with serenity and the silent feeling that something meaningful has been accomplished.

Napoleon Suite

History is not remembered here—it still breathes. In every detail, you can sense the presence of a man who changed the course of history. This fragrance shares the same unmistakable character: confident, distinctive, and unforgettable. It was inspired by Napoleon Bonaparte, for whom fragrance was a ritual rather than an accessory. Fresh citrus notes, aromatic herbs, and refined accords form the foundation of this bespoke composition. Within the suite, it feels self-assured yet never overpowering, creating an atmosphere of focus, determination, and natural authority while preserving calmness and effortless elegance. It opens with a bright, invigorating freshness, gradually unfolding into a deeper, more contemplative character before settling into a warm, enduring trail that anchors the space. Like Napoleon himself, this fragrance does not fade. It remains in memory.

Heavenly Suite

A little piece of heaven on earth. The fragrance of this suite is delicate, quiet, and almost intangible—as though, for a fleeting moment, you could touch something beyond this world. Violet brings tenderness and depth, lavender offers freedom and serenity, while sandalwood anchors the composition in a warm, softly sensual embrace. The fragrance feels pure yet deeply intimate, like a gentle touch that lingers long after the moment has passed. This is a space that slows time, quiets the mind, and allows the body to unwind. The Art Nouveau Suite is like a painting you enter not through your eyes, but through your breath—a space where nature and aesthetics exist in perfect harmony, and every detail carries the scent of beauty born beyond time. The fragrance opens with a delicate freshness reminiscent of a spring garden awakened by the sun—light, graceful, and understated, yet unforgettable. Gradually, it unfolds into a warmer, deeper composition, evoking Art Nouveau interiors bathed in golden light, where floral motifs, flowing ornaments, and soft lines merge in quiet harmony. Floral Suite

The French Suite is a breath of Provence wrapped in timeless elegance—a space where France is revealed not through pictures, but through the gentle breeze that drifts quietly through the room. The fragrance evokes a summer evening, when the landscape grows still, the light softens, and the air becomes delicate and weightless. Lavender takes centre stage, its aromatic purity intertwined with the delicate floral notes of violet and gardenia, bringing both tenderness and depth to the composition. It feels refined and quietly dreamy—like freshly pressed linen drying in a warm breeze, or a peaceful morning in a garden bathed in gentle light. The fragrance unfolds naturally throughout the space, never seeking attention, yet creating an atmosphere that blends the lightness of a French morning with the sophistication of an old salon.
